Here at Haleakala Distillers, we hand-craft the only authentic Hawai'ian rums. Real, fresh, local molasses from Hawaii sugar cane, Maui rainwater and Maui sun come together in small batches in our tiny craft distillery located 2000 feet above sea level on the legendary Haleakala Ranch. All of our rums are double distilled in hand-wrought copper stills, then aged in American Oak casks previously used for fine Bourbon. Braddah Kimo's Da'Bomb Extreme Rum is the strongest rum you can buy in Hawai'i! It is 155 Proof. Extremely Flammable. Do not attempt to take this on an airline; it is too high proof to meet TSA criteria. A great local replacement in any recipe calling for 151 proof rum or "overproof" rum.

Especially for collectors, we offer Maui Reserve Gold Rum at 80 proof from very limited bottlings. This is single-barrel reserve, aged more than one year in American oak barrels. Each bottle is individually numbered and signed by the distillers. A few bottles remain from the distillery's very first cask, Cask #1, which is indicated on each bottle. When they are sold there will be more Gold Reserve, but never again from Cask #1.
This fine aged rum won a Bronze Medal at the 2006 International Cane Spirits Festival in Ybor City, Florida. It was the first entry ever made in competition by our distillery. Since then we have entered six more bottles over three years. EVERY SINGLE BOTTLE WE HAVE ENTERED HAS WON A MEDAL - THREE GOLDS, TWO SILVERS, and TWO BRONZES!
